An award-winning new two-classroom extension has provided Paget High School with a modern, bright and highly energy efficient, eco-friendly environment complete with first-rate facilities to support teaching & learning for current staff and students and those in many years to come, thanks to the construction services of Fords of Blythe Bridge.
The extension to the existing high school buildings provides two new classrooms, offering much needed additional teaching and learning space at this thriving enterprise school. A two-storey link corridor has been cleverly designed to enhance and improve access to the new extension from all areas of the existing school.
The innovative and eye-catching design of the new buildings, which is inspired by the school’s enterprise status, makes use of modern methods of construction and design to reflect the school’s forward-looking vision.
Judges at the Local Authority Building Control Awards were so impressed by the project that it was awarded best educational building at the Staffordshire and Shropshire Awards.
