Completed over the 6-week summer holiday period, Fords of Blythe Bridge’s landscaping team pulled out all the stops to completely overhaul the school’s playground and provide a fantastic new outdoor play and learning environment.
The bright and creative design of the new playground features soft play pathways in the school colours, artificial grass surfacing, a new tarmac play area, in addition to a bespoke wooden gazebo and sunshade to provide covered areas for outdoor learning and recreational play.
Hundreds of shrubs, plants and trees were also planted as part of the project to enhance the natural environment within the school grounds and provide an oasis of colour in an urban environment.
Internally, Fords of Blythe Bridge also carried out significant remodelling works to refurbish and enhance existing facilities, breathing new life into the school for the school year ahead.
